JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop and implement products and features from inception to completion, including idea generation, understanding strategic goals, production, user feedback iteration, and ongoing maintenance.
Define the scope of features and projects, and create technical design documents for handover.
Enhance application performance by implementing technical improvements to improve speed, stability, and scalability.
Pay close attention to UI and interaction details to create a seamless user experience.
Streamline development processes, enhance code quality, and enforce engineering best practices, and also maintain a zero-bug standard.
Collaborate with designers to create a user-friendly UX/UI and work closely with the Customer Success team to understand product usage.
Embrace a tester's mindset by incorporating testing into the development process and taking ownership of the quality of the final product.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in developing customer-facing mobile applications as a full-time software engineer, ideally in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Proficient in English with excellent communication skills, able to articulate and explain solutions confidently.
A natural problem solver who can effectively untangle complex issues and find the right solutions.
Strong product sensibility with a focus on user experience, speed, and quality of work.
Comfortable with AI tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and quality in development work.
High ownership mentality, able to work independently and take features from idea to completion while being adaptable and open to learning and iterating.
Results-oriented and driven to deliver value.
Mature, adaptable, and professional attitude.
Proficient in Flutter and Dart with experience in shipping at least one production app on iOS and/or Android.
Solid understanding of state management and mobile-specific concerns such as offline-first architecture, local storage, push notifications, and app lifecycle.
Experience integrating REST APIs, handling async data flows, and familiarity with app store deployment and release management.
Comfortable working in TypeScript on a Node.js backend, able to read, extend, and debug existing services.
Proficiency in modifying REST endpoints in a NestJS codebase and experience with platform channels, background services, or push delivery.

Serve as the primary bioinformatics subject matter expert for engineering teams developing cloud-native bioinformatics software. Collaborate with software architects to translate scientific workflows into scalable distributed computing architectures. Validate that modernized applications preserve scientific correctness and produce reproducible results.
