Senior Solution Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a senior experienced solution architect to join our growing team who will work with Key Solution Architects, Tech Leads from various projects to drive our technical stack with responsibilities:
A top-notch senior solutions architect should understand how all parts of the business model work together in order to design a solution that best fits the environment.
Analyzing and solving technical-related problems with the assistance of the technical team and project managers.
Helping drive and deliver local and global IT projects whilst keeping making sure our technical strategy is followed.
Determining the cost implications of various solution options.
Working on the changeover from an existing system to a new one and ensuring that the improved version works with existing systems.
Making sure that the new solution meets industry regulation specifications.
Follow-up on plans to resolve any critical technical issues.
Review technical policies, procedures and documents. 
Lead various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes
Help drive the company’s SAS and cloud strategy forward with automation and ITIL practices.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree is preferred with above 10 years’ experience focusing in web development.
Excellent working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiar with the SAAS model.
Have at least 5 years experience in a technical role/engineering role.
Excellent English and communications skills.
Excellent Organisational skills.
Good experience in Solution Architect preferable SAAS Model and micro-services related architecture.
Familiar with Agile development methodologies, Atlassian ( jira , Confluence…).
Can write and review technical policies, procedures, and documents.
Strong mentoring and coaching experience.
Be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
Good analytical and problem solving, negotiation skills, presentation skills across organizational boundaries.
Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask.
Adaptability and flexibility, ready for change.
