Accounting Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an Accounting Consultant (Business Analyst, ERP, Oracle) to join our dynamic consulting team. As an Accounting Consultant i, you will play a critical role in delivering expert accounting and financial consulting services to our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in the accounting field, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering innovative solutions and exceeding client expectations. Collaborate with clients to assess their accounting needs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Implement and configure ERP systems to optimize financial processes and ensure compliance with US accounting standards.
Provide expert guidance on accounting best practices, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct training sessions for client staff to ensure successful adoption of ERP systems and accounting procedures
Analyze financial data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
Assist clients in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and other financial documentation
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ERP accounting modules and ensure seamless integration with other business systems.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in accounting regulations, and advancements in ERP technology.
Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and technical consultants, to deliver comprehensive ERP solutions.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for clients' ERP systems, ensuring long-term satisfaction and success.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting.
Proven experience in implementing and configuring ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite).
Good knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and team members.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
 
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a consulting firm or similar client-facing role.
Knowledge of other ERP modules (e.g., CRM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing).
Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
