Application Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Identify and resolve application issues encountered by users.
Perform upgrading of application software.
Responsible to drive all technical and functional issues towards closure
Perform diagnosis, investigation, resolution, coordination with business, application owners, and infrastructure support.
Assist in compiling data and material for presentations.
Interface with other technical support personnel, engineering and product management to escalate and resolve issues.
Conduct feedback from users. Evaluate and perform changes as a form of continuous improvement.
Co-ordinate and involve in SIT, UAT application testing.
In charge and perform Software Release Management.
Co-ordinate and work with customer on for software release and application release and testing.
Deployment of patches in multiple environments and tracking the same.
Perform troubleshooting and resolve Portal and application related incident based on SLA.
Provide evidence, root cause, finding and resolution in the incident report.
On 24 x 7 standby and be back in office as and when required.
Require in depth support on ITSM based on Jira Platform.
Support on business application. (Training will be provided on business application)

JOB REQUIREMENT

Degree in Computing/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Info Systems / EEE or equivalent
Graduate with good learning attitude and relevant experience can be considered. Candidates with more experiences can be considered for senior roles.
Familiar to full-stack development and understand concepts of software engineering.
Knowledge of Agile Development methodology.
Knowledge of coding languages.
Programming experience.
Knowledge of databases.
Have experience in conducting SIT and UAT.
Ability to write test plan and test cases.
Ability to perform software testing.
Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
Good team player with critical thinking, analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented.
Be open to challenges and ability to accept new roles and assignment whenever required.
Ability to work under extreme pressure.
Ability to work during office hour and provide standby support after office hour in a 24 x 7 operations environment.

WHAT'S ON OFFER

We are applying hybrid working model, 2 days at the office. However, during the probation period, we request the employee go to the office 4 days per week.
13th salary
14 days of annual leave (to be finalized with the group to add more)
