JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to focus on designing, developing, and deploying scalable, highly available, and low latency backend services in specific problem domains.
The role involves analyzing, defining, and documenting requirements, as well as identifying potential solutions using agile delivery frameworks to efficiently deliver change.
As a Backend Engineer, you will also be responsible for solving complex technical and business problems, learning new technologies and frameworks, and taking full ownership of the features you work on.
This includes the full lifecycle of the product, from design and development to testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Pragmatic mindset.
Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and inquisitiveness.
Several years of software development experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, etc.).
Proficient in database and schema design for large-scale applications.
Flexible and adaptable attitude, open to constant change.
Ability to collaborate and fit into an Agile environment.
Good command of English.Experience in developing distributed systems using microservices architecture, serverless architecture, and event-driven architecture. Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, Python (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI), or similar technologies is beneficial.
Familiarity with AWS, Ansible, Packer, Docker, and Kubernetes is a significant advantage.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Strong English listening and speaking skills.
Experience working in the banking and financial domain.
