JOB DESCRIPTION

The Opportunity
The prime responsibility of this new role is to design and structure insurance products, processes and capabilities for our digital platform and partners.
You will have significant input, defining and proposing new insurance products supporting global trends.
You will be part of the key initiatives to the development of the future growth and Company’s success.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as Business Analyst Insurance will include:
Working with industry and business specialists to develop and implement client visions, roadmaps and governance to address today's business needs and support future growth
Running requirement workshops and interviews to discover product strategy, vision, process innovation, unique value proposition, business case and goals
Analyse & define customer and partner journeys 
Requirements design (writing epics and stories, acceptance criteria, visual models, user flows and wireframes)
Support in defining Insurance Product specifications
Define business rules, validations 
Managing the product backlog (prioritization, facilitation of the estimation, decomposition, managing dependencies)
Working with the development team (facilitate backlog grooming, technical design meetings, and sprint planning)
Managing multi-disciplinary teams to shape, propose, communicate and implement programs
Requirements validation and sign-off
Designing acceptance criteria and planning UAT with client stakeholders
Manage and execute projects
Stakeholder management and facilitation of the collaborative decision making
Advocating for the best practices of the agile product design and requirements engineering
Trend scouting around technology, insurance protection and competitors
General
Facilitation of Scrum ceremonies (product backlog grooming, sprint planning and estimation, daily standups, showcases, retros)
Comply with company procedures and processes
Any other roles and responsibilities assigned

JOB REQUIREMENT

Essential:
Strong insurance domain knowledge 
Ambition, solution focus and with strong skills in IT platform and insurance products
Solid knowledge of agile practices of product design & requirements engineering (epics, stories, acceptance criteria)
Customer-centric mindset and techniques. Handson experience in creating Customer Personas, Business Value maps, Customer Journey Maps, User Journey.
Knowledge and hands-on experience in visual process modelling
Strong analytical skills (insurance products, technology, competitive intelligence, …)
Experience in modelling insurance products, underwriting- and claims rules (P&C, Healthcare, Life insurance classes)
Experience in developing market relationships with different parties (insurers, partners, providers, …)
At least 5 year’s relevant experience as Business Analyst or Product Manager for insurance company, broker or MGA
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal to internal and external stakeholders
Ability to decompose complex issues, find solutions and summarise
Manage and work autonomously on projects
Strong attention to detail and follow-up
