We are now looking for an Industry Business Analyst who will play an important role to analyze the business domain, document its processes and systems, outline business requirements, and share the understanding with the downstream processes such as UX, Dev team, and QA. Facilitate the scope change process with the client and internal stakeholders. The main focus of this Business Analyst will be to support our core product development and work very closely with the Product Manager and Product Owner.
An ideal candidate should be a fast thinking dynamic person with a positive attitude able to function under pressure, and an exceptional aptitude for learning, combined with common sense and initiative. The candidate should be highly organized, execution-oriented and have an understanding of development processes and functionality logic. He/She should be able to function both as a team player, OR in a standalone capacity – able to organise yourself and others around you to a common goal. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Overview of Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide viable solutions which meet aligned requirements and determine their business needs to transform them into functional specifications and system requirements for the development team
Track product enhancement requests, assist with gathering details and defining use cases and story logic.
Coordinating across various teams to effectively manage product issues and coordinate with the Scrum Master to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects
Be involved in the complete lifecycle of systems development from concept, through requirements and development, to testing and deployment and ensure solutions developed are aligned and fit into the overall product vision
Work with the development team in representing product management in answering questions – elaborate information on the specifications, define and review test plans and its results.
Communicate iteration priorities, feature sets, roadmaps, and feedback to key personnels
Engage and discuss with the business on the status of a project, as well as constantly ensuring our business requirements are understood by the team
Support and review the testing scenarios, test data, and defects verification throughout the delivery lifecycle;
Develop user documentation and training materials and document solutions to customer issues, contribute to knowledge base and cross train other team members.
Preferably 2 years experience in business/system analysis, product management, or related field.
Cross-border eCommerce experience [preferred]
Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources (experience in Agile project delivery will be an advantage)
Experience in large scale projects throughout the full software development life cycle
Advanced skills in using suitable tools for technical flows/diagrams, creating mockups/wireframes.
Excellent analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
