Our client is a global investment firm

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for maintaining and improving the existing C++-based tick data processing platform and assisting in the transfer of datasets to a new tick data processing platform
Contribute to the enhancement of a new C++-based tick data processing platform by enabling support for additional tick data feeds across asset classes and implementing new features and functionalities
Work closely with the Research and Portfolio Management teams to ensure smooth transition from the legacy platform to the new system and support their price volume data requirements for signal generation.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Proficiency in C++ programming across multiple language versions (11, 14, 17, 20, 23)
Familiarity with build tools like CMake
Familiarity with scripting languages including Perl and Python
Understanding of tick data and processing order book data
Expertise in the software development life cycle, continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, Git, JIRA, etc.
Strong attention to detail, patience, and a cooperative attitude
English proficiency and willingness to participate in meetings across different time zones
