JOB DESCRIPTION

Converting various types of data into standardized outputs for quantitative analysis and financial engineering.
Managing the integration of new technologies and initiatives into data standards and structures.
Improving data quality and integrity by creating validation tools to measure the effectiveness of data enrichment.
Evaluating system performance and providing recommendations for software and data storage enhancements.
Creating utility tools to automate the software development, testing, and deployment workflow.

JOB REQUIREMENT

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field is required with a strong academic background.
Demonstrated ability to implement data engineering pipelines and real-time applications in C++ (Python is advantageous).
Proficiency in C++ based tools such as STL and object-oriented programming is essential.
Previous experience with Linux/Unix shell and Git is required.
Proficiency in Python based tools like Jupyter notebook and adherence to coding standards like pep8 is beneficial.
Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms is mandatory.
Experience in Data Engineering or similar roles is advantageous.
Good command of English is necessary, and proactive demeanor and strong communication skills within a global team environment is beneficial.
Excellent software development skills are essential, with the ability to convert rough overall use-cases to a working codebase.
A deep curiosity and passion for learning is a beneficial trait.
