JOB DESCRIPTION

Resolving issues with a variety of structured and unstructured data for quantitative analysis and financial engineering.
Maintaining data quality in pipeline content and execution.
Addressing issues with data node usage and development.
Engaging with clients to understand their needs and propose solutions for reported problems.
Creating utility tools to automate operational troubleshooting and provide ongoing support.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Must possess a strong academic background with at least a bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field.
Should have at least 2 years of relevant experience working as a Data Engineer or in similar roles.
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms is essential.
Proficiency in C++ based tools such as STL and object-oriented programming in C++ is a requirement.
Strong command of English and the ability to communicate effectively within a global team environment.
Experience with Linux/Unix shell and Git is required.
Familiarity with python-based tools like Jupyter notebook and coding standards like pep8 is beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to implement data science pipelines and real-time applications in C++ (python experience is a plus).
Familiarity with GDB, PDB is advantageous.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal direction.

Assist teams transitioning into new Data Mesh roles (DPO, Steward, Data Architect, Analytics Engineer, etc.). Provide hands-on support for early-wave or complex Data Products. Make data products and platform accessible and engaging for all staff across the organization. Develop a digital enablement portal including guides, checklists, templates, and videos. Integrate continuous feedback loops and iterate quickly to improve platform usability. Ensure all Mesh Experience features support adoption and reinforce the "data-as-a-product" mindset. Maintain active channels for communication and updates. Communicate expectations, standards, and timelines clearly. Highlight wins and success stories to build momentum. Curate relevant external content to support the transformation. Monitor progress of rollout, leader boards, and raise blockers with appropriate stakeholders. Utilize data to highlight platform adoption, culture change, wins, and challenges. Produce clear and compelling summaries on adoption progress for decision making. Manage end user feedback and be the link between users and the platform team.
