JOB DESCRIPTION

Objectives
We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide sound technical and people leadership in our transformation into a world-leading music-tech organization. You will be a member of the executive team and will be tasked with making critical technology decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company
As a CTO, you will be a multiplier for your team and your peers, guiding, supporting them. You will provide both high level and tactical technical guidance, lend your technical perspective, and challenge the status quo. In doing so, you will raise the bar for the entire company 
 
What you will do
Partner with cross-functional leaders across different departments (e.g. Product, Business, Music, etc) to provide company level technical vision and strategy
Lead the company’s technological development to drive value for both our users and business
Make critical decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements
Manage technology budgets and support the timely delivery of technical solutions to meet business needs
Strategize and develop our core technological platform to serve as the foundation for the company’s full portfolio of products
Create roadmaps and timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services
Supervise system infrastructure to ensure scalability and efficiency
Ensure that the technological resources and capabilities meet the company's short and long-term needs
Make leadership decisions, providing guidance and mentoring for the entire Tech function, including but not limited to corporate engineering, platforms, AL/ML, R&D, and our applied division
Guide the team to stay on top of industry and tech trends, emerging technologies, software development methodologies, and even form new best pracces

JOB REQUIREMENT

Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science or related field
10 years proven track record of working in a technological role, with at least 5 years in senior technical management experience, with significant outcomes
Advanced technological skill-set and a demonstrated history with technology
Understanding of AL/ML technologies related to sound, music, gaming
Strong strategic mindset and problem-solving skills
High general cognitive ability and good emotional intelligence
Exceptional team management skills and leadership
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Possess deep industry knowledge and on top of current technology trends
Will be a plus
Working experience related to mobile/music/gaming industry
Advanced degree(s) - e.g. MBA, PhD
Experience working at top global tech companies
Passionate about music

Define the overall technology strategy and solution architecture for the program.
