Data Scientist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for developing POCs/projects for customers to demonstrate power of Aitomatic product(s) & capabilities to customer stakeholders and data scientists.
Responsible for ensuring that POCs/projects are delivered on time, scope and quality
Responsible for understanding customer requirements from POC and translating them into solutions using the human-first approach
Take primary responsibility for answering technical, data and related questions from the customer, related to the POC/project
Provide regular progress updates to the customer and other stakeholders
Perform activities like data analysis, solution formulation, model development, testing/evaluation, field testing (representative POC related activities)
Raise POC/project risks, issues, concerns proactively and constructively
Maintain POC/project documentation and artifacts as per team’s guidelines and standards
Provide product related feedback to the H1st product development team, and contribute to H1st development as required.
Help to recruit and onboard new team members as required 

JOB REQUIREMENT

Must-have:
5+ year’s work experience after Bachelor's degree or 3+ years work experience after Master’s degree. Work experience must be as a data scientist
Strong data science fundamentals with solid background in modeling/algorithms, statistical techniques, and software engineering
Demonstrable experience in constructing AI- & ML-based solutions for real-world engineered systems in industrial setting
Demonstrable ability to think critically in understanding problems and formulating solutions
Excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with non-technical audiences (for example, customers)
Customer interaction and expectation management skills
Programming languages & packages: Python, SciKit-Learn, Keras/TensorFlow, Pytorch, and similar
1+ year experience doing data science on one of the public cloud platforms is required
Nice-to-have:
Experience with Apache Spark and/or Hadoop development
Programming language: scripting languages, Scala, Java 
University degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
