DevOps Engineer

Collaborate with a globally distributed team of four members and external stakeholders to effectively manage application lifecycle and deployment processes.

Use DevOps and Kanban methodologies to contribute to technical tasks, prioritize workload, and implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Configure and deploy applications and services across cloud and on-premises environments using Virtual Servers and PaaS solutions.

Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency of DevOps tasks and contribute to documentation, guidelines, and mentoring to encourage continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Provide timely resolution to production issues as a member of the support team and stay updated on evolving technologies and best practices in software development and DevOps.

Maintain regular communication with the Team Manager and develop working relationships with both IT and non-IT groups within the organization.

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or possess equivalent practical experience.

Have a minimum of 03 years of experience in roles such as DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar positions, developing a strong foundation in DevOps practices.

Proficient in working with version control systems like Git, and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration in a team-oriented environment.

Fluent in English, with good verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning and self-improvement.

Foundational knowledge of on-premises and cloud infrastructure administration, including platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Expertise in deployment tools and pipelines, including Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, and best practices in configuration management (CMDB).

Familiarity with data management and database administration, including SQL and NoSQL systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.

Prior experience in Enterprise DevOps environments and/or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly in migration projects.

Advanced knowledge of on-premises and cloud infrastructure administration, with a preference for Azure, though experience with AWS and GCP is valued.

Familiarity with modern virtualization approaches, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization, using tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Advanced coding or software development/architecture skills, particularly in technologies such as .NET.

Conversational proficiency in one or more languages-Mandarin, French, Vietnamese, Romanian, or Hindi- to enhance communication in a multilingual and multicultural environment.
