JOB DESCRIPTION

Deliver stakeholder-requested software features while maintaining software quality standards.
Design and manage scalable, secure, highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud.
Apply best practices for availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and cost efficiency.
Support multi-environment deployments through standardized configurations and governance.
Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines tailored to application requirements.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate GCP provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
Create automation scripts to improve and streamline development workflows.
Implement application logging and metrics for effective monitoring and observability.
Embed security best practices across the development and deployment lifecycle.
Work closely with development teams to provide technical support and guidance on infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Must-have
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python and Bash
Familiarity with CI/CD tool GitHub Actions and experience in integrating security scanning and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice-to-have
Understanding of FinOps principles and cloud budgeting strategies
Interest in machine learning, data engineering, or analytics solutions
Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts such as SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability engineering practices
