DevOps Team Leader

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose/Role
DevOps team lead is responsible for technical delivery of DevOps service, effectiveness in customer integration, customer experience and own major incident resolutions.
Key responsibilities/What you do
Provides functional and technical expertise in DevOps for local and regional specifics
Represents the IT service across the organization for IT service-related questions, consulting, etc.
Accountable for technical ownership, driving automation, and managing customer escalations
Ensure that DevOps services are developed and operated according to business requirements
Oversee day-to-day activities of Customer Enablement squad
Educate customers on Cloud Ready application, Cloud Architecture, Hybrid cloud migration paths, Options for Data storage
Present success stories and qualify project fitness with our three Container implementation: AKS, EKS and OpenShift
Support customers in the architecture or re-architecture of their applications for containerized applications
Act as pre-sales of our Cloud implementations for new projects
Develop and maintain contracts/order agreements for DevOps team
Review and lead new demands to the team
Leads and develops people in accordance with Allianz People attributes, leadership values and relevant guidance
Ensures compliance with occupational health and safety standards and regulations by law
Communicates actively, proactive information management and guides employees through change initiative
Full responsibility for FTE, budget, quality and timely delivery of output and cost for DevOps services
Responsible for execution of all people related processes, e.g. recruiting, performance review and compensation with the guidance of relevant HR

JOB REQUIREMENT

5+ years IT experience and IT service delivery
Experience with managing the teams and people management
Understanding and practical knowledge of Cloud Architecture (preferably Azure and AWS) and containerization (Docker)
Containerized application skills especially Docker and Kubernetes
Understanding and practical knowledge of toolchains preferred Github, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube
Understanding and practical knowledge of Monitoring tools preferred Prometheus, Grafana and Alertmanager
Understanding and practical knowledge of Logging tools preferred ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana
Proficiency in cross-platform scripting language and build tools (Nexus, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle)
Coding skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, Go or Ruby would be nice, but another stack is welcome as well.
Experience in risk assessment & stakeholder management
Experience in ITSM, ITIL and CPI processes (Change, Problem, Incident)
Able to manage client expectations, building trustworthy relationship with stakeholders, customer centric behavior
Professional proficiency in English
