JOB DESCRIPTION

Architecting and scaling distributed systems for managing large amounts of sensory, telemetry, and control data across cloud and edge environments
Creating data ingestion and streaming pipelines to connect fleets of robots to the cloud in real time, including video, LiDAR, joint states, and audio data
Building large-scale training and inference platforms for multimodal foundation models that drive robot autonomy and teleoperation
Collaborating with ML and Robotics engineers to support hardware-in-the-loop simulation, policy rollout, and continuous learning
Developing internal observability systems for fleet monitoring, reliability, and performance tuning
Leading infrastructure decisions, including distributed storage and consensus protocols, GPU orchestration, and network reliability

JOB REQUIREMENT

Over 7 years of experience in professional software engineering, specializing in distributed systems, networking, and data infrastructure
Demonstrated track record in developing and managing production-grade distributed systems for large-scale and critical workloads
Proficient in programming languages such as Go, Rust, C++, and Python, with strong expertise in concurrency, networking, and systems performance
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (e.g., Kubernetes, gRPC, Kafka, S3, Ray) or similar frameworks
Strong knowledge of data consistency, replication, and fault tolerance in diverse environments
Additional experience with GPU-based workloads, model training, or edge compute orchestration is advantageous
Strong analytical skills and a focus on creating fast, measurable, and reliable systems
Experience in developing distributed training or large-scale simulation systems
Familiarity with real-time robotics workloads, including streaming from physical sensors and actuators
Previous involvement in telemetry, observability, or fleet-scale systems in production
Contributions to open-source infrastructure, AI frameworks, or robotics middleware, such as ROS, gRPC, Mediasoup, etc.
