JOB DESCRIPTION

Engineering Contributions
Actively contribute to 1-2 mission-critical projects through coding, code reviews, and architectural design.
Apply deep expertise in Golang, Ruby on Rails (RoR), and JavaScript to build and maintain scalable backend systems.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Ensure alignment with engineering standards and best practices consistent with Andpad's senior developer expectations.
 
Management & Leadership
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 4-5 engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence.
Oversee team performance, delivery timelines, and code quality across projects.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
Facilitate technical discussions, remove roadblocks, and make key architectural decisions.
Champion continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and team culture.
Serve as the primary liaison between engineering and product management/stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Minimum 15 years of professional experience in Software Development/Engineering.
2-3 years of experience in a formal Team Lead or Manager role, leading a team of 4-5 members.
Strong backend development experience with Golang, Ruby on Rails (RoR), JavaScript, and associated frameworks/technologies.
Extensive knowledge of system design, distributed systems, and scalable architecture.
Commitment to high-quality code and engineering standards.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional working proficiency in English.
Experience with Cloud Platform (AWS/GCP).
Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices and DevOps tools.
Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Familiarity with the [Relevant Industry] sector.
