Engineering Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide technical leadership, guidance and support while nurturing a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture.
Coordinate with other Engineering Managers to coordinate on requirements, architecture, infrastructure, dependencies for collaboration.
Lead the team consistently delivers outstanding results.
Establish, contribute to and evolve best engineering practices for your team.
Coach engineers on your team and provide growth opportunities for individuals by tailoring work to skill level and interests.
Ensure engineering code meets business and architecture standards.
Mentor engineers in and help set best practices around writing maintainable, supportable code including quality, logging, security, monitoring and alerting.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
At least 3+ years of serving in an Engineering Manager role, prior experience as a tech lead.
5+ years professional work experience.
Hands-on experience as an engineer working on products through the entire product lifecycle.
A product mentality - ability to define goals, consider trade-offs, prioritize, defend decisions, and execute.
Highly organized - with many people doing many things in a fast-moving company, strong organizational skills—both for yourself and for the team - will be required.
Attitude to thrive in a fun, fast-paced start-up like environment
Experience in Agile Methodology.
Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people with a variety of skills, disciplines, experience, and personalities.
Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups

Senior Software Engineer (Backend + Network)

Continuously monitor and analyze new VPN providers, proxy services, and anonymization tools. Conduct investigations on IP allocation patterns, hosting provider behaviors, and network infrastructure changes. Develop and maintain comprehensive databases of known VPN/proxy IP ranges and behavioral signatures. Research emerging threats such as residential proxies, mobile proxies, and distributed proxy networks. Monitor darkweb marketplaces and security forums for emerging proxy/VPN trends. Perform deep packet analysis and network traffic pattern recognition. Develop and maintain the system using PHP, Python, and/or Go. Optimize VPN/Proxy detection algorithms. Design scalable infrastructure to handle millions of IP lookups per day. Implement monitoring and alerting systems for detection accuracy and system performance.
