JOB DESCRIPTION

Discussing the requirements with the team and breaking them down into epics and Jira tasks.
Facilitating estimations with the team and capturing them on corresponding Jira items.
Tracking progress, ensuring the team stays on plan, and keeping it up to date in Jira.
Providing technical leadership and mentoring the engineering team.
Conducting regular 1:1s, performance conversations, goal setting, and supporting personal development plans.
Owning team delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and the removal of blockers.
Acting as the primary point of contact for Product Management, Release Management, and stakeholders on technical matters.
Assisting in interviewing candidates and helping build out the engineering team.
Fostering a culture of quality, security, and continuous improvement within the team.
Active development and code ownership across the stack - C#/.NET services and React/TypeScript frontends
Owning the technical direction of Managed ERP Hosting and the Documents Archive Solution
Defining and evolving the technical architecture, driving the roadmap for cloud transformation, and test automation
Evaluating and adopting AI-assisted development tools to accelerate team productivity.
Championing secure-by-design practices and maintaining high-quality code across the entire stack.
Providing hands-on incident response and on-call escalation support together with the team.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Extensive experience in C# / .NET for developing backend services and establishing architectural standards for the team.
Proficient in Node.js & TypeScript for creating production-grade services using modern typed Node.js / TypeScript stack.
Skilled in React / TypeScript for frontend development, state management, and component architecture.
Strong familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, App Services/Functions, Key Vault, and monitoring.
Design and management of build, deployment, and release pipelines using CI/CD & DevOps tools.
Proficient in agile delivery methodology and breaking down requirements into epics and Jira tasks.
Champion of test automation and proficient with tools like Jest, Playwright, or similar for ensuring high test quality.
Demonstrated leadership experience in leading engineers, conducting code reviews, and driving technical decisions within a team.
Proficient in AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor for improved productivity.
Capability to comprehend and navigate complex, large-scale existing systems.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS).
Familiarity with event-driven architectures, GraphQL, and API modernization at scale.
Experience with compliance or audit-driven systems and large-scale software modernization projects.
Background in ERP, e-commerce, or other complex enterprise domains is a plus.
Familiarity with scaling engineering teams or transitioning to a leadership role is desirable.
Strong communicator capable of deep technical discussions and clear stakeholder communication.
Empathetic leader with a focus on both people and technical growth.
Structured and pragmatic mindset with a strong ownership approach to product quality and team health.
