Imagine the year 2030. Advanced technology has automated routine tasks to put Police Officers back in the community, dramatically improving the quality and safety of our lives. Artificial Intelligence connects the dots and surfaces insights to help prevent crime and keep officers and citizens informed and protected.
Today, public safety officers spend up to 40% of their time on the job filling out paperwork. Not only is this tedious for officers, but the never-ending pile of paperwork reduces the amount of time they can spend out in the field, protecting their communities.
That’s why we’re building a brand-new Mobile team for Axon Records, our cloud-based platform that cuts down on paperwork so that officers can spend more time prioritizing the safety of our communities. Rather than relying on memory or taking notes on paper, officers would be able to capture information and evidence on-the-go with their mobile devices.
As the Engineering Manager of the Mobile team, you will play a big role in our overall mission to enhance the productivity of public safety officers. You will own the end-to-end success of the new Mobile team, from hiring, planning to execution.

Your Day-to-Day
Hire and grow a world-class engineering team
Work with Product Managers and Product Designers to set goals and plan the team roadmap
Execute and deliver new features and improvements to customers on a regular basis
Leading the engineering and operational excellence for your team
Opportunities to join forces with other partner teams in Vietnam and US
Coaching your team for continuous improvements

JOB REQUIREMENT

A customer-focused engineering leader who has led and launched complex web-based applications
3+ years of frontend or full-stack web development experience
You have a high standard of excellence for yourself and others around you
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Proficient in Javascript or Typescript, HTML5, CSS, and component-based frameworks like React
Experience with hiring and mentoring engineers
Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with frontend infrastructure & tooling, i.e. webpack
Experience with UX or UI design, especially for responsive mobile interfaces
Experience with GraphQL
Experience with logging and metrics tools like MixPanel, Splunk, DataDog

Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable applications using .NET (C#) and JavaScript (ReactJS) Act as a hands-on technical contributor while leading and managing a small development team (3-4 members), ensuring effective task allocation, delivery, and technical guidance.
