JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities:
Overseeing a portfolio of mid-sized accounts
Achieving annual sales targets
Managing sales cycles lasting 3-6 months
Conducting product demonstrations and addressing technical inquiries at a moderate level
Territory & Pipeline Management:
Balancing growth of existing accounts with prospecting for new business
Handling both inbound qualified leads and outbound prospecting
Managing multiple deals at various stages simultaneously
Generating accurate sales forecasts for 1-2 quarters
Client Engagement:
Leading discovery calls to comprehend business needs
Establishing relationships with mid-level decision makers (Directors, Senior Managers)
Coordinating with procurement and legal for contract reviews
Conducting price negotiations within defined parameters
Internal Coordination:
Collaborating with the Engineering Team for moderately complex technical requirements
Working with Customer Success for smooth handoffs
Engaging Solution Architects for custom use cases
Providing regular reports to Sales Head

JOB REQUIREMENT

Work Experience Criteria:
At least 5 years of selling B2B SaaS, with a preference for experience in retail tech
Proven track record of achieving annual quotas ranging from $300K to $1M
Prior experience in selling to retail operations
Demonstrated ability to close sales within 3-6 month cycles, with deals ranging from $20K to $100K
Background in working with multi-location retailers or franchise businesses
Technical Knowledge:
Proficient understanding of retail operations and terminology
Ability to discuss integration capabilities with common retail systems
Basic knowledge of data security and compliance in a retail context
Familiarity with retail-specific ROI calculations
Industry Understanding:
Familiarity with different retail business models and revenue drivers
Understanding of seasonal business cycles and budgeting in retail
Knowledge of challenges faced in retail operations
Awareness of current trends and pain points in retail technology
Experience in navigating corporate stakeholders
Core Skills:
Capable of fostering multi-threaded relationships across retail organizations
Skilled in managing complex stakeholder groups such as Operations, IT, and Finance
Strong discovery skills to identify operational inefficiencies
Ability to connect software value to retail KPIs (e.g. sales per square foot, traffic, conversion rates)
Experience in managing pilot programs or store rollouts
Language Proficiency
Native/bilingual proficiency in Thai AND professional proficiency in English (or Vietnamese)
