You drive the step-by-step migration of our ERP from a single virtual-machine setup towards containerized workloads on Linux and Docker. You design, implement, and maintain agent-based deployment for both virtual machines and - increasingly - containers, making sure they are provisioned, deployed, and updated reliably. You provision and operate virtual machines, containers, deployment targets, and delivery infrastructure in Azure. You ensure the cloud onboarding wizard (React) and the surrounding cloud services run reliably so that customers can work without interruption. You instrument the platform with telemetry, monitoring, and observability so that issues are detected early and operations stay transparent. You design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate build, packaging, testing, and deployment processes. You support the migration of existing build and release processes towards GitHub Actions and modern delivery workflows. You manage and evolve self-hosted runners and build infrastructure. You collaborate with Quality Engineering to integrate automated tests into delivery pipelines. You work with Release Management to improve release reliability, transparency, and automation. You identify bottlenecks in the software delivery process and continuously improve developer productivity. You help establish the technical foundation for future Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment scenarios#OPERATIONS & ON-CALL RESPONSIBILITYTogether with your future colleague and the wider team, you take shared responsibility for keeping the platform running for our customers. We ensure disruption-free operations primarily through the right tooling and welldefined processes - automation, telemetry, and clear escalation paths - not through manual firefighting. This is explicitly not about working fixed shifts: it is about ownership and reachability, being there within a defined reaction time when problems occur, including on weekends. You take ownership of the reliable operation of our machines and - increasingly - containers, so that customers can keep working. You build the tools and processes that keep operations running smoothly and prevent incidents before they happen. You make sure that deployments and the cloud wizard (React) keep functioning correctly in production. You share responsibility for operational availability in a rotation with the team - the goal is to respond within a defined reaction time when incidents arise, not to staff fixed shifts. You help build the alerting, telemetry, and on-call processes that make fast and reliable incident response possible.

#LEADERSHIP & DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES You discuss the Product Manager's requirements with the team and break them down into epics and Jira tasks the team can execute against. You facilitate estimations together with the team and capture them on the corresponding Jira items. You own the plan: you track progress, ensure the team stays on plan, and keep it continuously up to date in Jira. Technical leadership and mentoring of the engineering team - guiding architectural decisions, code reviews, and best practices. Personnel responsibility: regular 1: 1s, performance conversations, goal setting, and supporting personal development plans. Ownership of team delivery: sprint planning, backlog refinement, removing blockers, and ensuring reliable execution. Acting as the primary point of contact for Product Management, Release Management, and stakeholders on technical matters. Recruitment support: interviewing candidates and helping build out the engineering team. Fostering a culture of quality, security, and continuous improvement within the team.#TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES (HANDS-ON) Active development and code ownership across the stack - C#/.NET services and React/TypeScript frontends. Owning the technical direction of Managed ERP Hosting - the wizard-driven, message-based (Azure Service Bus) provisioning and reliable operation of per-tenant ERP environments on Azure. Owning the Documents Archive Solution (DAS) - GoBD-compliant archive for invoices and business documents, built as a React + TypeScript (Bun / Effect) service on Azure (PostgreSQL, Blob storage, Event Hub) and integrated into the Hub and Managed ERP Panel. Defining and evolving the technical architecture: modular design, REST and GraphQL APIs, cloud infrastructure (Azure), and data flows. Driving the roadmap for the cloud transformation - moving the ERP step by step from virtual machines onto Linux and Docker. Owning the roadmap for test automation, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), observability, and operational reliability. Evaluating and adopting AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate team productivity. Championing secure-by-design practices and maintainable, high-quality code across the entire stack. Hands-on incident response and on-call escalation support together with the team.

Solution Design & Architecture: Critically analyze business requirements and COM systems to design enterprise-grade solutions that balance technical excellence, security, scalability, and business value. Create comprehensive design artifacts, architectural diagrams, and technical documentation that guide implementation teams. Technical Leadership & Proof of Concept: Apply systems thinking and design thinking methodologies to assess impacts across the COM ecosystem. Undertake proof-of-concept builds when required to validate architectural decisions and de-risk implementation. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and design decisions to diverse audiences including Heads of Technology, Engineering Managers, Product Owners, Tech Leads, Testing Teams, and Technology Executives. Serve as a trusted advisor who can translate between business and technical domains.
