JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide technology solutions to support fraud strategy and business needs, utilizing advanced identity verification and behavioural biometrics.
Position the company as a leader in fraud and scams technology by driving innovation, adopting emerging capabilities like federated AI and behavioural biometrics, and contributing to industry-wide intelligence and best practices.
Oversee financial performance, including run and maintenance costs for the Fraud Technology team.
Establish and maintain a mature support capability across fraud platforms.
Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, security, and risk management through enhanced threat intelligence and multilayered data analytics.
Lead and develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and compliance frameworks.
Manage vendor contracts and relationships to ensure delivery quality and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with Fraud Business Partners and Group stakeholders to shape and deliver outcomes.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, operational risk frameworks, and internal policies and standards, including evidenced attestation regarding ongoing monitoring of relevant metrics.
Ensure appropriate controls are activated and embedded into all key processes.
Leadership for local and global Technology Fraud & Scams teams.
Shape and execute the strategic roadmap for Fraud & Scam technology, influencing enterprise stakeholders and incorporating fast-cycle testing and feedback loops to optimize fraud controls.
Shape global workforce plans and resource allocation across multiple teams and initiatives, with a focus on talent strategy and skill development.
Determine viability and applicability of external technology solutions to support customers and drive value, manage strategic technology vendors and platforms, including federated AI collaboration models to enhance cross-institutional fraud detection.
Influence and sequence across competing fraud initiatives and transformation programs.
Determine path to execute architecture standards and integration approaches for legacy and modern systems, including containerized microservices.
Lead cultural and operational transformation to improve service maturity and resilience.
Make decisions on automation, support models, and performance metrics.
Establishing buy vs build criteria, with a clear understanding of the broader technology environment and developing top-level capabilities to deliver and operate built applications.
