JOB DESCRIPTION

Prioritize implementing shift-left testing and automation as the primary methods for early and frequent testing.
Develop automated tests throughout the build and regression test phases and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.
Devise and execute test plans, conduct test cases, and produce test summary reports for the features developed within the team.
Review solution documentation and aid in analyzing, testing, and resolving issues.
Contribute to defining user story acceptance criteria and ensuring that the stories adhere to high-quality standards.
Encourage the team to prioritize quality, and provide training to help developers improve their testing skills.
Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the People Leader and/or authorized representative of the organization from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Require at least 2 years of experience in software testing, including 1 year of automation experience in Web, Mobile, and API testing, and a degree in computer science or a related field.
Familiarity with various technologies such as Java or Typescript programming, QTest, JIRA, Confluence, PACT, Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, TestNG, Playwright, Selenium, JMeter or Loadrunner.
Strong English communication skills (verbal & written) for a global software development environment.
Proficiency in Selenium Webdriver based automation and creating automation test cases using the page-Object model.
Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and the ability to implement automated test cases effectively and work in a continuously changing environment and cross-functional teams.
Experience in testing Microservice-based systems, API contract-based testing, an ISTQB certification, banking or financial services industry experience, exposure to AWS, cloud-native architecture, and familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD, GitHub, SonarQube, Gradle, JFrog.

QA Engineer - Manual

Develop risk-based testing strategies for releases, including scoping, estimating, preparing test data, defining entry and exit criteria. Ensure seamless end-to-end flows across frontend, backend, and integrations with third-party systems, covering multiple countries, currencies, and payment methods. Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, verifying payment lifecycle and handling of failures such as refunds, settlements, retries, idempotency, and webhooks.
