Experienced Automation Tester Freelancer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Advocate for shift-left testing and prioritize automation for early and frequent testing
Develop automated tests during build and regression test phases and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline
Formulate test plans, conduct test cases, and generate test summary reports for team-built features
Review solution documentation, assist in analyzing and testing, and resolving issues
Assist in defining user story acceptance criteria and ensuring high-quality story completion
Encourage the team to prioritize quality and provide training for developers to enhance their testing skills
Proactively manage risks and ensure policy and compliance adherence
Code and execute automated tests for Feature, System, and Integrated Systems Testing Phases
Monitor progress of assigned test designs and test cases to meet testing deadlines
Proficient in English communication (both verbal & written)
On-site work in Hanoi is a necessity; no remote positions available
Flexibility provided for both manual testing and automation testing in the work.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation testing for Web, Mobile, and API
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including static testing and dynamic testing
Responsible for managing and executing test processes for new features in various testing life cycles
Proficiency in testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium Webdriver automation framework (Java), Cypress (Javascript/ Typescript), and Mobile Automation framework
Proficient in one or more programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript
Familiarity with testing management tools such as QTest, JIRA, and Confluence
Experience with API testing using Postman and UI testing tools like TestNG, Selenium, Cypress, etc.
Capable of independent testing within a cross-functional team following Agile processes
Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Harness, Docker, and AWS is highly advantageous
Effective communication skills to convey technical issues to peers and stakeholders at all levels
Experience in the banking domain is a bonus
