JOB DESCRIPTION

Game Designer:
Develop engaging midcore games on the platform.
Pitch innovative gameplay concepts with strong replayability and social engagement.
Iterate on core gameplay loops, progression systems, rewards, balancing, and player experience.
Prototype game mechanics, game modes, levels, and events quickly to validate gameplay ideas.
Collaborate with developers, artists, and stakeholders to bring game concepts from idea to launch.
Create clear game design documentation, gameplay flows, and feature specifications for implementation.
Optimize game design for performance and player retention, providing regular updates and improvements for the games you are working on.
Analyze player data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to make informed design decisions within the scope of these games.
Iterate on game features and mechanics to enhance user experience and retention rates in the games you are working on.
Conduct regular reporting on performance improvements and their impact on player retention metrics.
Stay updated on new trends and technologies in game optimization.
Willing to learn and expand knowledge in game development and operations to achieve a well-rounded skill set.
Gain insights into game operations, such as live operations, analytics, and player feedback management, to support long-term game success.
Actively participate in cross-disciplinary projects to broaden expertise and contribute to the team's overall growth.

JOB REQUIREMENT

A minimum of 3 years of experience in game development with a track record of published games. Experience designing games for UGC platforms such as Roblox, Mini World, Blockman GO, etc is advantageous.
Strong understanding of midcore gameplay aesthetics, player behavior, and social/sandbox gaming experiences.
Preference for experience working on published games or live-service products.
Demonstrates strong ownership, accountability, and proactive attitude towards delivering high-quality outcomes.
Familiarity with key game performance indicators (KPIs) including Retention 2, Retention 7, DAU, MAU, and ARPU. Experience with game design documentation and prototyping.
Strong communication skills in Vietnamese & English. Proficiency in Chinese is a valuable asset.
Ability to adapt to feedback, iterate on designs quickly, and deliver under pressure.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, committed to delivering high-quality gaming experiences.
