JOB DESCRIPTION

Leading and providing guidance to frontend teams in Japan and Vietnam.
Driving frontend technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
Creating scalable, high-performing web applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Ensuring adherence to high standards in code quality, user experience, performance, and accessibility.
Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers.
Encouraging the sharing of knowledge, implementing modern development practices, and automating CI/CD processes.
Managing and enhancing the frontend development environment and workflows.
Supporting the professional growth and development of junior/mid-level engineers.

JOB REQUIREMENT

More than 8 years of experience in web development and over 5 years specifically in frontend engineering.
Over 3 years of hands-on experience working with React.js and Next.js in production environments.
Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS and using testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI and AWS-based infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability in establishing frontend technical standards and providing guidance to other engineers.
Effective English communication skills (TOEIC 750+ or equivalent required or assessed during selection).
Excels in diverse teams and has prior experience collaborating with or leading Vietnamese and Japanese engineers.
Emphasizes teamwork, ongoing improvement, and innovation.
Looks beyond code, demonstrating understanding of business impact, user experience, and long-term product value.
Displays passion for technology and dedication to creating user-centered products.
Takes accountability for identifying and remedying issues, propelling the team and product forward.
Previous experience leading frontend in a B2B SaaS environment.
Profound understanding of web security, performance optimization, and design systems.
Familiarity with GraphQL, Playwright, Storybook, and Node.js build tools (e.g., Babel, webpack).
