Fullstack Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop and optimize web applications using Next.js 14+ with App Router and TypeScript
Design and implement responsive and high-performance user interfaces
Contribute to backend development, including efficient database design and API development
Assist in the implementation and optimization of 3D environment features
Contribute to media processing and streaming solutions
Implement and maintain efficient authentication and authorization systems
Optimize application performance and ensure scalability across the platform
Contribute to the development and optimization of audio/video export processes
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

JOB REQUIREMENT

Required Skills and Experience
3+ years of experience in full-stack web development
Strong proficiency in Next.js 14+ (App Router), React, and TypeScript
Experience with TailwindCSS and component libraries like ShadcnUI
Familiarity with Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms
Knowledge of database design and management (PostgreSQL) with a focus on query optimization
Experience with RESTful API design and development, emphasizing efficiency
Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for web applications
Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with or interest in 3D graphics technologies (e.g., Three.js, WebGL) and their optimization
Familiarity with video streaming and processing technologies, including optimization techniques and export pipelines
Knowledge of collaborative editing systems and real-time data synchronization
Experience with structured content management systems (e.g., Sanity content lake)
Understanding of generative AI and its applications in creative workflows
Contributions to open-source projects related to web performance or media processing

Harden network security across private load balancers, firewalls, and VPC segmentation; design and maintain hub-and-spoke / multi-AZ topologies. Support training infrastructure: self-service VM provisioning, RunPod burst capacity, Weights and Biases integration. Drive infrastructure reliability, cost efficiency, and capacity planning as the platform scales.

Build and maintain high-fidelity digital twin environments for Asimov across MuJoCo, Isaac Sim, and Unreal Engine, calibrated to real hardware behavior. Design and own the systems -- not just the environments -- that let locomotion, autonomy, and perception teams generate, validate, and iterate on simulation scenarios at scale. Build pipelines for asset import, USD and MJCF workflows, sensor modeling, and real-to-sim calibration to keep digital twins synchronized with evolving hardware. Develop photorealistic rendering pipelines in Unreal Engine for synthetic data generation and perception model training. Work with hardware and mechatronics teams to model actuator dynamics, contact physics, and structural behavior, ensuring simulation parameters reflect physical ground truth.
