Full Stack Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Work with international customers
Work with colleagues from United Kingdom and the US
Be responsible for the success of your project
Design, implement and test web applications
Collaborate on requirement analysis and specifications
Share knowledge and experience with your colleagues
Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code
Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
Strong experience around React
Experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Data JDBC, DI, Transactions
Experience with RDBMS like Amazon Aurora with PostgreSQL compatibility
Experience with unit tests, integration tests, code coverage, and code refactoring
Experience with Microservices
Experience with AWS and kubernetes
Experience with Docker containers inside Kubernetes (AWS EKS) cluster
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines like CircleCi and/or Jenkins
Optional Requirements (nice to have)
Knowledge of AWS Lambda is desired but not mandatory
Knowledge of AWS SNS, SQS is desired but not mandatory
Knowledge of CloudFormation/Terraform is desired but not mandatory
Knowledge of UML and OpenAPI is desired but not mandatory

Responsible for complete manual QA of web, mobile, and payment processes including functionality, integration, regression, exploratory testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Develop risk-based testing strategies for releases, including scoping, estimating, preparing test data, defining entry and exit criteria. Ensure seamless end-to-end flows across frontend, backend, and integrations with third-party systems, covering multiple countries, currencies, and payment methods. Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, verifying payment lifecycle and handling of failures such as refunds, settlements, retries, idempotency, and webhooks. Manage defect reporting and triage, communicate quality status and risks effectively, and make evidence-based decisions on whether to proceed with releases. Enhance regression testing coverage and QA processes, fostering close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
