JOB DESCRIPTION

Collaborate with the development team to build tools and logic supporting level design.
Establish formulas and algorithms in the game to optimize player experience.
Analyze data, adjust difficulty levels, and balance game statistics to cater to all skill levels.
Innovate and develop new gameplay mechanics or integrate existing ones to refresh the player experience.
Interpret ideas through game design documents (GDD) and coordinate with other departments.
Work closely with artists, animators, and developers to ensure level design meets high-quality standards.
Create difficulty charts, UX flowcharts, and feature hierarchies in the game.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Graduated in relevant fields such as Game Design, Programming, Computer Science, or IT.
Have a portfolio demonstrating the ability to design engaging and challenging game levels.
Proficient in level design tools and understanding puzzle mechanisms in games.
Able to analyze player data to improve design, enhance experience, and increase player retention.
Familiar with creating prototypes using tools like Unity3D, Cocos, Game Maker, etc.
Strong algorithmic thinking for game balancing and level design.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing game levels for puzzle games.
Experience in designing games such as Sort Color, Jam, Match-3, Triple Tile, etc., or puzzle games on mobile.
Understanding of player psychology, particularly gamers.
Familiar with current trends in mobile games.
Knowledge of mobile game market research.
Possess a reference product with good metrics.
Proactive in identifying and solving problems.
