Senior Software Engineer (Japanese N2)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Build, guide and manage the development process of the project, ensuring the team applies the process effectively: Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban), Agile practices
Taking a central role while proactively being involved in leading, executing, implementing, strategizing, and quality assurance as necessary for driving project successfully
Design database, write readable and testable code of functional and non-functional requirements
Quickly fix system failures or abnormalities by monitoring or notifications

JOB REQUIREMENT

Must have
4+ years for Web development
Have worked as a Backend Engineer with in following languages: Golang/Java/Python/ PHP/C#
Good experience in Agile: Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, LeSS) and practices
Experience to operate multiple applications on a production environment
Experience to collaborate with several teams
Good ability in Japanese (N2 or N1 equivalent)
Intermediate English skill
Nice to have
Experience to develop B2B SaaS applications
At least 2 year experience in project management or team leader: Define project objectives, Planning, Scheduling, Resource management, Risk/Issue management, Progress management
Good experience in microservices, micro-frontend, and multi-tenant architecture design/implementation

Staff Engineer, Firmware

Create the firmware stack for a new project from the ground up, including selecting the operating system, setting up the toolchain, and developing the board support package. Develop firmware for real-time processing units across the project's hardware platform. Establish and maintain embedded Linux environments for onboard computing, including BSP setup, device tree configuration, kernel driver development, and userspace/kernel interfaces. Create and maintain low-level drivers for various components such as actuators, sensors, IMUs, and communication buses (CAN, EtherCAT, SPI, I2C, UART). Design real-time control loops with specific latency and determinism requirements. Work closely with different engineering teams to co-design hardware and firmware interfaces. Develop tooling for firmware flashing, diagnostics, and in-field debugging. Set and uphold firmware architecture standards, code quality practices, and review processes within the team. Contribute to the hardware setup for new releases of the project, starting from schematic review through validation.
