Head of Delivery

JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Head of Delivery for the Company in Vietnam, you will lead the Delivery function with responsibility for delivery across all product teams, ensuring alignment to the Company vision and business and technical strategy. You will be a member of the Company Leadership Team with a key role in shaping, influencing and supporting delivery across the Company product portfolio. You will also act as Delivery Lead for one of our largest key strategic pillars – platform consolidation – ensuring executional excellence at every step. 
What You’ll Do
Overall responsibility for the P&L for all product portfolio, planning and managing budgets, ensuring adequate provision for all planned roadmap deliverables are in place, and ensuring good financial discipline and cost control is maintained
Overall responsibility for timely delivery of agreed product roadmaps, against requirements, as set out by product owners, to a high standard
Working closely with product management and product owners, to understand product roadmaps and requirements to deliver against functional commitments and non-functional needs
Planning the product development priorities and putting in place effective monitoring and controls to ensure the timely identification of risks, issues, and dependencies
Tracking delivery risks, issues, and dependencies, and regularly report on these to customers and Company leadership.
Drive agile adoption and best practice across all product teams
Reporting on delivery metrics and actively managing against KPIs
Leading on knowledge development and sharing for delivery managers
Driving constant improvement in product delivery strategy within the team and fostering a culture of engagement and success within the teams
Acting as an escalation point for blockers to delivery, including acting as an escalation point for management of 3rd party suppliers
Working closely with product stakeholders, developing effective working relationships, and promoting continuous product development and release processes within a DevOps framework

JOB REQUIREMENT

Ability to inspire and guide teams without direct authority and provide hands-on leadership
Proven experience managing complex global initiatives end to end, from strategy through to operational delivery and initiative scaling
Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with multiple globally dispersed teams and stakeholders, sometimes with competing priorities
You are able to coach and mentor team members to see the “big picture” that ties initiatives to our strategy as well as account for the details that lead to accurate delivery of complex solutions.
Must have software and agile experience (Jira & Confluence)
You’re a problem solver and relish the opportunity to challenge and employ critical thinking to resolve business and process problems
You have a demonstrated track record of managing technology projects and proven experience leading cross-functional programs by holding teams and individuals accountable to timelines and deliverables.
Must have excellent oral and written English skills being able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level.
Demonstrated ability to understand and influence the business and technology strategy
Must have worked in IT or software companies, preference for e-commerce

A Senior Technology Risk leadership background to work with the business stakeholders and the technology Risk teams includes identifying, assessing, and managing technology risks across infrastructure, applications, cloud, data, cybersecurity, third party services, and emerging technologies and able to understand the business needs This role is responsible for working proactively in a team supporting the Company in its execution of risk management accountabilities and responsibilities. The tasks or activities for which this role is responsible each day are set out in Group policies, standards and guidance notes and revolve around technical, operational and compliance event management, change risk management, remediation/response, risk and obligation profiling. Advising business leaders on the application of the risk and compliance management framework to evaluate risks in order to achieve business outcomes. Engaging and managing senior stakeholders to implement and improve business systems and processes through the use/integration of the risk and compliance framework. Working with the business to implement systems and controls to manage the requirements of risk and compliance policies which apply to the business. Risk profiling: assisting to identify key risks and design of indicators to monitor, input into Divisional Risk Setting Statements as relevant. Designing controls: assisting to identify the right key controls to mitigate key risks and obligations applicable to the business in partnership with specialist controls team. Providing guidance on risk and control items including Subject Matter Expertise for the following: Risks, Obligations Events, Change, and related Policies; Remediation action plans to address any control design or operating effectiveness gaps; Requisitions on Management attestations, ensuring evidence is consolidated at a Sub-Divisional level; Relevant Risk Management Forums and/or other risk related committees as required. Engaging the relevant Enterprise Controls communities for expert assistance as appropriate.
