Head of Engineer - CET

Develop an integrated strategic roadmap for the execution of the Customer Onboarding and Mastery, Financial Crime, and Fraud's strategic ambitions, and drive the process from development to implementation.

Manage multiple engineering teams across the Customer Onboarding and Mastery, Financial Crime, and Fraud domains to achieve desired outcomes, requiring domain knowledge in these areas.

Collaborate with business teams and product owners to validate requirements before and after delivery through showcases and Day 2 production monitoring.

Take ownership of the development and runtime of applications in production, providing active operational support and establishing a clear support model with engineers proficient in site reliability engineering.

Lead efforts related to cyber security updates, ensuring that software currency versions are kept up to date and infrastructure is patched regularly.

Oversee investment delivery across the organization to maintain alignment between domains, effectively allocate investments, and provide insights on the prioritization and effectiveness of spending.

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate and support team members to achieve success

Experience in building and leading teams, developing careers, and creating and executing business strategies

Extensive knowledge and understanding of banking markets, including operating practices, business models, market challenges, and competitive dynamics

Passion for ensuring customer safety and preventing financial crime, fraud, and customer onboarding issues

Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and provide support to senior leaders when addressing challenging topics

Track record of successful business execution and program delivery, with the ability to remain resilient and focused despite challenges

Effective communication skills to convey strategic and operational requirements internally and externally

Ability to quickly earn the trust and respect of executive peers and stakeholders in leadership forums

Strong thought leadership that garners support from business leaders to achieve organizational goals
