JOB DESCRIPTION

Establish and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with the organizational objectives.
Guide and support the engineering team, cultivating a culture of responsibility, adaptability, and creativity.
Promote the adoption of Scrum and agile approaches by substituting project management positions with scrum masters/delivery managers to improve team performance.
Take ownership of and enhance the technology stack (including AWS, microservices, PHP/Node.js for the backend, and React.js for the frontend).
Work closely with stakeholders to provide effective and scalable solutions.
Ensure the engineering team delivers high-value, customer-focused products within established deadlines.
Oversee technology budgets and engage in vendor negotiations when required.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Over 15 years of experience in software engineering, including 7 years in management, with exposure to managing managers.
Proficient in public cloud technologies, with a preference for AWS, and extensive knowledge of microservice architecture.
Adept at implementing agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming, and DevOps, enhancing team efficiency.
Skilled in system design and possesses strong communication and collaboration abilities, including proficiency in English.
Capable in business planning for tech investment, project management, and managing stakeholders through effective interpersonal discussions.
