JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead, scale, and mentor software engineering teams in Vietnam across diverse technology stacks
Promote a strong engineering culture focused on innovation, delivery excellence, and agile best practices
Establish and grow local technology centers of excellence in transformation areas like cloud, blockchain, and AI
Drive continuous improvement in engineering productivity, tooling, and quality assurance
Provide oversight and capacity planning in collaboration with Professional Services Units (PSUs) and Country Units (CUs)
Support presales initiatives by advising on technical solutions, delivery models, and team composition
Represent engineering and IDU resource needs in local talent planning, mentoring, and skills development
Partner with local teams to ensure a high-performing and compliant working environment
Collaborate with Risk & Quality teams to manage and escalate supply, demand and operational risks or non-compliance concerning delivery
Ensure staffing needs meet all defined quality standards and compliance frameworks across global client engagements
Work closely with stakeholders to align engineering practices, delivery models, and resource mobilization
Assist business development teams in shaping technology proposals, solution architecture, and rate card structures

JOB REQUIREMENT

More than 10 years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership positions
Proven capability to assemble and manage engineering teams in global delivery scenarios
Thorough comprehension of agile development frameworks and best practices in engineering management
Previous experience in the financial services or fintech sector is beneficial
Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency in English and Vietnamese; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage

Dimensional Management Engineer

Work closely with Industrial Design (ID) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) teams to translate desired product experiences into specific specifications and dimensional requirements. Offer expertise on dimensioning schemes, datum selections, measurements, and GD&T application according to ASME standards and the needs of downstream assembly and systems. Take the lead on TA/VSA and collaborate with partner teams to address identified risks and challenges effectively. Coordinate planning for Development Validations & Verifications (DEV V&Vs) and ensure supplier partners are prepared for measurement system support. This may involve guiding fixture design, documenting measurement operations, addressing metrology issues, and qualifying measurement systems. Oversee the creation of DEV health dashboard and work with internal and external partners to resolve issues and meet product ramp-up targets. Collaborate with manufacturing engineering teams or vendors to balance functionality and manufacturability during the development of dimensional controls.
