JOB DESCRIPTION

Strategic Performance Advisory
As a strategic partner to Executive Leadership, this role drives the measurement, interpretation, and optimization of Service Centre performance.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team, shaping how business performance is measured, monitored, and improved across the Service Centre.
Lead and develop a central Insights & Analytics team of approximately 4-5 analysts and data engineers responsible for enterprise performance reporting and decision support.
Design, maintain, and continuously enhance a robust performance management framework, including KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, executive reporting, and insight generation.
Transform complex operational, technology, workforce, customer, and delivery data into clear, actionable insights that enable strategic decision-making and investment prioritization.
Provide executive-level analysis and recommendations on productivity, capacity, service performance, operational risk, and business outcomes.
Develop compelling performance narratives that support senior stakeholder discussions and inform enterprise-wide planning and decision-making.
Promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making and performance accountability across the Service Centre.
Analytics Delivery Oversight & Capability Leadership
As the functional leader for analytics capability, this role provides strategic oversight, governance, and leadership across multiple analytics teams delivering services to the broader bank.
Provide senior leadership and oversight of analytics teams delivering business-critical data and analytics solutions through business-aligned delivery backlogs.
Ensure analytics delivery is effectively governed, strategically aligned, outcomefocused, and consistent with enterprise data and analytics standards.
Establish and embed best practices, operating models, and governance frameworks to drive delivery excellence and consistency across teams.
Build organizational capability through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and talent development, creating a strong pipeline of analytics leaders and specialists.
Drive the maturity of analytics practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and business impact.
Foster a high-performance culture that encourages innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and data-driven problem solving

JOB REQUIREMENT

Essential Capabilities
Exceptional ability to translate complex technical, analytical, and data-driven concepts into clear business insights and strategic recommendations for executive audiences.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify key business drivers, define meaningful performance measures, and influence decision-making at senior leadership levels.
Demonstrated success in building, leading, and developing high-performing data, analytics, and technology teams that deliver measurable business and customer outcomes.
Outstanding stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with a proven ability to shape strategic direction and drive organizational change.
Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams across diverse geographical locations and operating environments.
Highly collaborative leader with a customer-centric mindset and a strong focus on partnership, outcomes, and continuous improvement.
Advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complex business challenges.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and make informed decisions in fast-paced environments.
Deep expertise in data analytics, data science, statistical methodologies, and modern data technologies, including machine learning, artificial intelligence, data engineering, ETL processes, data sourcing, and analytical model development.
Experience
10-12+ years of progressive leadership experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence, strategy, technology, or related disciplines.
Significant experience within Financial Services, Consulting, Technology, or other highly regulated industries.
Demonstrated track record of translating complex analytical and technical findings into executive-level insights that drive business outcomes and strategic decisions.
Proven experience leading multiple analytics, data, or technology teams, including distributed and offshore delivery models.
Experience operating within large-scale service centres, shared services environments, or enterprise delivery organisations.
Strong understanding of risk management, regulatory obligations, data governance, and compliance frameworks relating to the use of data and analytics.
Experience establishing governance, operating models, performance frameworks, and capability-building initiatives that improve organizational maturity and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
Postgraduate qualifications (MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
Professional certifications in data, analytics, technology, project delivery, or leadership disciplines are advantageous.
A combination of formal qualifications and substantial practical leadership experience will be highly regarded.
