Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the bank's SME business strategy in alignment with overall corporate goals; Identify growth opportunities within the SME sector and create actionable business plans; Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies effectively. Business Development: Drive the acquisition of new SME clients while deepening relationships with existing ones; Develop and oversee the implementation of innovative SME banking products and services, including loans, deposits, trade finance, and digital solutions; Collaborate with marketing teams to design campaigns targeting the SME segment. Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing SME banking team, including relationship managers and product specialists; Set clear performance targets and ensure the team meets or exceeds revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals. Risk Management: Work closely with the credit risk team to establish prudent risk assessment frameworks for SME lending; Ensure the portfolio remains healthy by monitoring credit quality and minimizing non-performing loans (NPLs). Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for SME-related partnerships and collaborations with external stakeholders, including government agencies and industry associations; Represent the bank in SME forums, conferences, and events to enhance brand visibility Operational Excellence: Streamline processes to improve customer experience and operational efficiency; Leverage technology and digital platforms to enhance service delivery for SME clients Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all SME banking activities comply with local and international banking regulations; Maintain robust internal controls and reporting mechanisms
