#Financial Reporting & Accounting Own the end-to-end accounting function for the APAC region currently comprising of Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Thailand Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and, where applicable, IFRS IFRS or other local GAAP across the APAC region Oversee general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close processes aligned to group reporting deadlines for all APAC entities Ensure APAC intercompany transactions and consolidation entries are correctly recorded and reconciled Monitor fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules across the region Manage treasury functions including cash flow monitoring and banking relationships as required for all APAC entities Support regional payroll oversight across APAC#Tax & Statutory Compliance Collaborate with the Regional Tax Team to ensure consistent tax compliance across the region (including CIT, VAT, FCT, and PIT) Oversee timely preparation and submission of all tax returns and liaison with the tax authorities Partner with the tax team on transfer pricing documentation, tax planning initiatives, and regulatory updates Monitor changes in local tax legislation and accounting standards across APAC jurisdictions Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual statutory audit process#Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of up to 5 accounting staff, fostering a high-performance culture Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular reviews, and support career development Allocate work effectively across the team to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards Identify skills gaps and support training and development initiatives Business Partnering & Controls Act as a trusted finance partner to regional business leaders, providing clear financial insight and analysis Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, and internal controls Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate actuals data and variance analysis

Develop and execute enterprise-wide data science and AI strategy that aligns with business priorities. Provide guidance to C-level executives on leveraging data for business growth, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency. Promote the use of AI best practices among subsidiary companies. Lead the development of Predictive AI, including data and feature engineering, and model lifecycle management. Spearhead Generative AI initiatives, such as prompt frameworks, knowledge integration, and safety protocols. Assess and implement model solutions based on business, cost, risk, and performance considerations. Manage MLOps & LLMOps pipelines to ensure scalable deployment and automation for predictive and generative models. Setting deadlines and defining the "Definition of Done" for each action and strictly managing them. Collaborating with the Staff Engineer to assess the trade-offs between technical constraints and business requirements, and define the scope that provides a satisfactory ROI. Operating the project with a "SWAT team" consisting of Senior Software Engineers and Project Managers at its core. Collaborating with Tech Leads and Project Managers to maintain the pace of progress through appropriate task assignments and blocker removal. Ensuring the quality of documentation, including requirements and API specifications, guaranteeing not only the accuracy of Japanese-English translations but also logical consistency. Cross-management of stakeholders across multiple locations and multiple projects. Streamlining human-dependent operations, including AI agents and automation tools. Leading the development of data migration plans, security integration policies, and testing strategies until approval is obtained. Cultivating a "bad news early" culture to promote early risk detection and escalation. Continuously improving and updating the PMI playbook (standard procedures).
