JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide leadership and support to a team of integration specialists to ensure successful project delivery and adherence to best practices.
Develop and design APIs utilizing WSO2, MuleSoft, or Kong and offer guidance on version control, deployments, and monitoring.
Deploy OAuth2 using Identity/SSO tools and oversee API security.
Utilize Swagger and API Developer Toolkit for API design and modeling.
Set up and customize different API product features and capabilities.
Guarantee adherence to banking regulations and data governance policies.

JOB REQUIREMENT

A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of IT integration experience, including at least 2 years in a lead role is necessary.
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing AWS services for integration scenarios is essential.
Proficiency in WSO2, MuleSoft and Kong for API design and development is a must.
Strong understanding of OAuth2 implementations and API security is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python, and Agile project management is necessary.
Previous experience in leading and managing a small team is crucial.
Ability to nurture a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and accountability is required.
Capability to support team members' growth through guidance and feedback is essential.
Strong problem-solving abilities, an inquisitive mindset, and a proactive approach to learning are necessary.
Effective communication skills to motivate and engage cross-functional teams is crucial.
Nice to have skill:
Expertise in API design and modeling, particularly Swagger, would be beneficial.
Knowledge of middleware and enterprise service bus (ESB) solutions would be an advantage.
Familiarity with compliance standards such as PCI DSS, GDPR, and TOGAF would be a plus.
An AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification would be beneficial.

Present complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and senior non-technical leadership. Build credibility and trust with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to executives. Validate and map business requirements into clear technical solution concepts and designs. Provide consultative guidance on technology choices and implementation approaches. Review business processes and align them with technical design, ensuring end-to-end feasibility. Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and solution design artifacts. Act as a bridge across product owners, engineering managers, solution architects, platform teams, security teams, and vendors. Ensure alignment between multiple delivery streams such as core banking, cards, payments, digital channels, integration, and data. Coordinate architecture and delivery consistency across distributed and offshore teams. Drive collaboration between internal and client teams to remove blockers and expedite execution. Promote modern engineering practices including microservices and distributed architecture, event-driven systems (Kafka), cloud-native development, CI/CD, DevOps, and automation-first engineering. Advocate for security-by-design and compliance-by-design principles across delivery. Promote AI-assisted engineering practices across the SDLC (code generation, test automation, refactoring, documentation), while ensuring correctness, governance, and security.
