Junior Embedded Linux Middleware Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Design, develop, and test middleware/framework for SoC platforms.
Perform Integration Testing, Unit Testing, Functional Testing.
Prepare technical documentation and develop sample applications for the product.
Collaborate with different teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Identify, report, and resolve technical issues.

JOB REQUIREMENT

MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Strong C/C++-pointers, memory management, modular design.
Can write Python or Bash scripts to automate tasks or parse logs.
Understands multi-threading basics - mutexes, race conditions, synchronization.
Hands-on exposure to at least one IPC mechanism: RPMsg, D-Bus, or shared memory.
Has written and run integration, unit, or functional tests in an embedded context.
Comfortable in Linux CLI with Makefile or CMake build systems.
Clear communicator - can explain a bug or design decision to teammates.
Proactive - asks questions early, flags blockers, takes ownership of assigned tasks.
NICE TO HAVE
Exposure to QNX or FreeRTOS.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Awareness of MISRA C or static analysis practices.
Any exposure to automotive domains: Camera, Display, Multimedia, or ADAS.
Any experience with SoC board bring-up (IPL, U-Boot).
