Lead / Principal Android Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking passionate, results focused Lead/Principal Android Engineers to take accountability for the design and delivery of Company's transformed digital platforms. You will be part of our delivery team and will be responsible for providing technical contribution throughout all phases of the software delivery life cycle as we initiate a transformation of Company technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with other Company's technology leaders towards improving and fulfilling the technical direction;
Design, develop, review, implement, and manage application code and services for the production and pre-release environments;
Design, develop, review, implement and manage continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts, systems, and any code as required;
Participate in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with international development teams to build mobile apps;
Understand the requirements of the customer or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent;
Monitors for and anticipates platform trends and upcoming critical changes;
Monitors client feedback for problems and proactively schedules resolutions where needed;
Work with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes and tooling;
Provide robust coding practices and solid unit and component test coverage, and code debugging. 

JOB REQUIREMENT

Must have
Experience as a Lead/ Principal Engineer in a complex, enterprise-level development environment;
At least 7 years’ working experience in software development covering mobile application development, especially in Android development (Android Studio/ SDK, Java, Kotlin).
Solid experienced with architectural patterns - Clean Architecture, MVVM, MVC;
Experienced with Unit tests, UI Tests, API Testing: Mocks, Stubs;
Experienced in build management tools including continuous integration and delivery practices and tools (Gradle, FastLane/Jenkins/Git);
Good knowledge and experience with SOLID principles;
Good understanding of modern software development practices and automation testing;
Good English communication skills (both verbal & written), and problem-solving and analytical skills
Nice-to-have
React Native experience;
Some experience in backend technologies as well as RESTful JSON APIs, Microservices;
Experienced in Performance test, Accessibility for mobile apps;
Security Mobile Apps: Application Security Transport, Local Data Storage, Reverse Engineer;
Experienced with device fragmentation issues.
English: Advanced level in both writing & communication
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in IT, Business, Computer Science or related area

Own the full agent lifecycle: prototype → evaluate → deploy → monitor → iterate. Build and maintain an evaluation pipeline to measure agent quality, catch regressions, and enforce deployment gates (golden datasets, scenario suites, automated checks).
