Lead Corporate Development

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Opportunity
The prime responsibility of this new role is to support our growth ambitions relating to human resources, finance, employee experience, facility/office infrastructure management and to support the Director of Corporate Development for the same on an international expansion level. Additionally, you will be involved and part of the team for budgeting, training and certification approaches.
You will have a solid reporting line (organizational and content reporting, objectives etc.) to the Director of Corporate Development who reports to the CEO of Group.
You will be part of the key initiatives to the development of the future growth and company's success.
Your key responsibilities as Lead Corporate Development will include:
General:
Work closely with the Director of Corporate Development and management to develop a people strategy for the company
Drive internal Projects (Operational, HR, Facility)
HR & People Management:
Collaborate with leaders to develop effective internal communications that build an engaged, informed, and positive culture and drive company values
Provide strategic direction and Setup a career path model for the entirecompany with the Director of Corporate Development, Division Leaders and CEO
Assist with coordination of meetings and events such as off-sites, teammeetings including organizing local social team events/office happy hours, team dinners as per approved budget
Responsible for performance review processes, salary and bonus review processes, compensation and benefits, loyalty incentives for the VN team
Drive the local Talent Management including University collaborations, employer branding events and hiring of new talents
Drive Milestone recognition to celebrate employee birthdays, workanniversaries, special occasions
Source, test and implement appropriate tools to support HR/Admin/Finance functions within Corp Dev
Support managers to fulfill hiring needs by building and maintaining connect with recruitment firms, and universities according to FTE plan
Perform onboarding process for new employees in line with internally formulated process
Support to integrate new employees with necessary equipment, information, and company procedures and policies.
Perform offboarding process for employees in line with internally formulated process
Closely monitor leave planning and work with managers to execute back plans based on capacity
Create, review and maintain up-to-date employee handbook, policies and procedures, in line with local law, that build and improve the company culture
Drive the development of proposals for internal polices (Travel, Expenses etc.)and its improvements
Finance:
Review monthly payroll management to ensure timely pay-out to employees
Vet and code invoices and obtain approval prior to payment cycles
Perform monthly expense claims reporting
Propose and drive CoE Budgeting and it's tracking
Facility & Office Management:
Respond to building emergencies and be a member of the emergency response team (as applicable)
Define office space requirements according to FTE plan and constantly review physical office space needs (lease/permanent/location/relocation)
Maintain vendor relationships and contracts to support office operational needs
Manage inventory and perform timely stock take of office supplies, stationery, corporate swags, office F&B
Certifications & Standards:
Establish and implement ISO-compliant HR processes to support a workforce that will scale in the next 12-18 months which includes establishing structured learning and development programs
Manage corporate Trainings and Certifications (i.e. Data Privacy, Confidentiality,etc)

JOB REQUIREMENT

Essential:
4+years of end-to-end people operations management experience with a strong emphasis on executing HR/Admin/Finance processes
Very strong operational and analytical rigor, able to use data to drive outcomes
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build a strong rapport with employees and vendors
Strong work ethic with the ability to operate autonomously with the ability to make sound judgment calls
Able to work well with team members across cultures
Exceptional planning and organizational skills balanced with the flexibility to meet the demands of a start-up environment
A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
2+ years office management experience, ideally, in fast-scaling tech start-up environment
Open to travel
