ABOUT CLIENT

Our client is a leading financial institution with a strong presence in the banking industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Developing and managing Java applications and services for production and pre-release environments
Creating and managing continuous integration, build management, and deployment scripts
Participating in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with international teams
Understanding customer or business requirements and developing consistent applications
Collaborating with delivery teams to drive development using CI/CD and DevOps practices
Implementing strong coding practices, unit/component test coverage, and debugging code
Providing mentorship and technical leadership for a team of engineers
Fulfilling additional tasks as assigned by leadership or authorized representatives

JOB REQUIREMENT

More than 7 years of experience as a technical lead/senior engineer specializing in Java/Fullstack (Java, ReactJS) in a complex, enterprise-level development environment.
Strong expertise in JAVA 8+ and/or ReactJS.
Skilled in designing and developing RESTful APIs and complex microservices-based systems, with troubleshooting and debugging experience.
Proficient in Cloud computing, particularly AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing.
Practical knowledge of Containers (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker) and FaaS (AWS Lambda) technologies.
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal & written), specifically in global software development environments.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Able to write structured, well-documented, maintainable, and clean code.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
