JOB DESCRIPTION

Collaborate with technical teams to design, develop, and implement solutions.
Utilize engineering best practices in day-to-day responsibilities.
Identify and execute process and architecture improvements.
Report and implement risk remediation tasks as appropriate.
Manage a team of SIEM engineers, focusing on data management and supporting a transition from the incumbent SIEM.
Establish and maintain rigorous processes.
Uphold high engineering standards, including documentation.
Set the level of urgency within the team for issue resolution.
Possess a strong background in data processing and storage, alerting, and searching techniques and technologies to guide and validate the team's work.

JOB REQUIREMENT

At least 3 years of experience in engineering or people leadership
At least 5 years of experience in building and maintaining ETL pipelines, data lakes, or SIEM
Familiarity with a selection of the following technologies: Amazon SNS/SQS, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, Apache Kafka, Windows Event Forwarder, Syslog, Cribl, Splunk (including Data Modeling), Data lake (e.g., Data Bricks)
Preferably has experience leading a team with service management responsibilities
Ideally, has knowledge or experience in the Cyber Security domain
A bachelor's degree in a Technology discipline or related field
Data, engineering, and/or cybersecurity qualifications and certifications are highly valued.
