Mobile Application Product Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Drive the roadmap and delivery of the next generation Automotive Mobile Application using high level business objectives as input to build and deliver the product roadmap.
Industry knowledge of creating eCommerce workflows, connected car remote vehicle commands, community engagement in the mobile application.
Work on websites as needed for features that may not be mobile friendly.
Create a competitive analysis and reports on other companies' mobile applications and best practices that will be incorporated into our mobile application.
Create and maintain the product backlog, roadmap and requirement documentation.
Ensure requirements are clear, complete and in a ready state for engineering to review and execute.
Be incredibly truth-seeking. Collect whatever data is necessary to inform product direction by soliciting and embracing critical feedback
Partner with User Experience Research and other teams to seek insights on problems facing the client or from other partners.
Clearly communicate plans, insights, data and results to a spectrum of audiences including client business owners, other technical teams, and other decision-makers across Foxconn and clients.
The role demands both, seeing the big picture and identifying strategically meaningful problems, as well as, the ability to investigate opportunities for significant product changes that are a business enabler and engagement driver
Partner and work very closely with engineering, QA and other partner teams to execute the roadmap.
Work with automotive clients in multiple time zones to create a world class mobile application.

JOB REQUIREMENT

General requirements:
Proven ability to translate business vision and high level requirements into technical specifications.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
Understanding of agile principles and methodologies and experience implementing and adapting them to fit the team's needs.
Experience and knowledge of authentication and authorization workflows using standards like OAuth.
Able to think outside the box for solutions that meet the time and requirements.
Excellent planning and communication skills
Strong specification writing skills.
Ability to work and clearly communicate with software developers to meet project goals and timelines.
Have a deep understanding of UI/UX design principles and skills.
Experience in working with Figma, Jira, and other project management tools.
Technical qualifications:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Sciences, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
8+ overall years of product management experience.
3+ years of experience in the automotive industry with mobile applications talking to connected car cloud.
Proficient in building mobile applications with a cloud infrastructure backend for global deployments.
Thorough experience collaborating working with Design, Engineering, Data Science.
A track record of excellence in developing and bringing world class products to market.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across large organizations.
Proficiency in multi-tasking and leading product launches.
Deployed mobile applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Ability to work with clients and employees in multiple time zones.
