JOB DESCRIPTION

Front End Framework and Architecture Design: Ensure mobile application design and architecture meet future growth and developer community needs, establishing the technical stack, choosing appropriate frameworks, and establishing coding standards and best practices.
Front End Community: Advocate for the front end architecture and development in the wider engineering community, ensuring member skill development through on-the-job learning and training.
Global Design System: Develop a global design system that efficiently supports a design customers will love, incorporating AI techniques and tools.
Cross-Platform Development: Lead the development of cross-platform applications using frameworks like React Native, Flutter, or similar technologies targeting iOS and Android platforms.
Native Development (iOS & Android): Provide expertise and guidance on native iOS and Android development when needed for platform-specific features or performance optimization.
Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide mobile developers, providing technical expertise, code reviews, and fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
AI native approach.
Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate new mobile technologies, frameworks, and tools for improvement and innovation opportunities.
Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize application speed and memory usage, and ensure a smooth and responsive user experience.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies with QA teams to ensure high-quality, bug-free applications.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, standards adherence, and best practices.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to the mobile architecture, development processes, and best practices.
Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in mobile technology and development.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Experience with Design System: Proficient in working within a design system at scale.
Mobile Development Know-how: 14+ years of proven experience designing, developing, and deploying mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
Cross-Platform Proficiency: Strong understanding and experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks like React Native and Flutter.
Understanding of Architectural Patterns: Deep knowledge of mobile architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture) and their application.
Proficient in API Integration: Skilled in working with RESTful APIs, web services, and cloud API technologies like API Gateways.
Devops Understanding: Good grasp of mobile devops practices and expertise in related tools.
Cloud Platform Familiarity: Knowledge of the AWS cloud platform and the ability to understand cloud architectures confidently.
Performance Optimization: Expertise in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in mobile applications. Exposure to APM and monitoring technologies such as Datadog, Cloudwatch, Firebase, etc.
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Leadership Abilities: Capable of mentoring and guiding other developers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
