JOB DESCRIPTION

An experienced mobile developer with a strong focus on React Native and Expo is sought for a senior role. The successful candidate will lead the design and development of complex applications using object-oriented programming and design patterns, with an emphasis on continuous integration and automation. Collaboration with backend engineers and DevOps teams is vital to create top-notch user experiences.
 
Key responsibilities:
 
Application Design & Development: Develop complex mobile applications using React Native, focusing on clean, scalable, and maintainable code for enhanced stability.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Communicate efficiently between mobile front-end and back-end services, participating in architectural discussions to define robust solutions.
Testing & Automation: Implement unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests with testing libraries like Jest, React Native Testing Library, and Detox. Contribute to test automation to ensure quality and reduce manual effort.
Continuous Integration & Deployment: Streamline development and deployment workflows with CI/CD pipelines while optimizing build processes for improved overall development efficiency.
Performance & User Experience Optimization: Deliver high-quality, high-performance mobile applications with smooth animations, fast load times, and responsive interactions for an enhanced user experience.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, promote best coding practices, conduct code reviews, and keep updated with industry trends and mobile development advancements.

JOB REQUIREMENT

More than 4 years of experience in developing mobile applications, particularly skilled in React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers and back-end engineers.
Solid understanding of mobile app development and expertise in OS-specific APIs with proven end-to-end project experience.
Familiarity with agile methodologies like Lean, Extreme Programming (XP), and Scrum, with a preference for collaborative and team-oriented environments practicing collective code ownership and pair programming.
Flexible to work across platforms and diverse client settings.
Preference for candidates with experience in using animation libraries like Reanimated.
Strong problem-solving abilities, a passion for tackling technical challenges, and a dedication to continuous learning.
