NLP Data Engineer

The NLP Data Engineer role involves designing, implementing, and overseeing complex data pipelines from various sources with different formats and latencies.

Collaboration with data, technology, and research teams is essential to develop and test strong data onboarding and ETL systems, which will be directly used by quantitative investment strategies.

Completed BSc/M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a reputable university

Proven track record of programming robust and scalable software using Python

Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining data pipelines

Familiarity with probability and statistical theory

Proficiency in working with Linux environments

Experience in developing and managing ML inference pipelines

Familiarity with LLM for structured data extraction

Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts

Previous experience in the financial services industry is advantageous

Knowledge of workflow scheduling techniques like Airflow is a plus

Past involvement with text data in a quantitative project or data science setting
