ODC Business Development

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales Strategy Support:
Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the goals of the Korea/Japan ODC sales teams.
Work with the sales representatives to understand market trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities, providing insights that inform sales strategies and approaches.
Assist in the creation of targeted sales plans to generate new leads, drive client engagement, and close deals in the ODC market.
Resource Planning and Management:
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper resource planning, including staffing, project allocations, and capacity management for ODC projects.
Ensure that the right resources are available to meet client demands and project requirements, working closely with HR, recruitment, and project management teams.
Methodology and Process Development:
Define and optimize sales methodologies and processes for the ODC sales cycle, from prospecting to delivery.
Assist in the creation and refinement of sales tools, templates, and presentations to support the sales teams in Korea and Japan.
Develop and maintain a knowledge base of best practices for ODC sales and operations, ensuring consistency and efficiency in execution.
Marketing and Market Insights:
Support marketing initiatives aimed at promoting the company's ODC services in Korea and Japan, including content creation, digital marketing, and event participation.
Provide market insights and competitive analysis to help shape messaging and positioning in the Korean and Japanese markets.
Assist in creating materials (e.g., brochures, case studies, presentations) that highlight the company's ODC capabilities.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Experience:
5+ years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or marketing, preferably within the IT outsourcing or offshore development centre industry.
Previous experience working with ODC operations or sales in the Korean and Japanese markets is a plus.
Strong experience in developing sales strategies, resource planning, and process optimization in a B2B or service-oriented environment.
Language Skills:
Preferred: Proficiency in Korean and/or Japanese is a plus.
Required: Business-level English is a must (both written and spoken) to communicate effectively with international teams and clients.
Skills & Expertise:
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop and manage business processes, sales strategies, and resource planning.
Experience with sales support tools and methodologies, including CRM software, sales pipelines, and project management platforms.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and locations.
Marketing experience is a plus, especially in creating content and supporting branding initiatives.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Responsible for managing the Product Backlog to ensure transparency, visibility, and alignment with business priorities. Clearly articulate Product Backlog items, including acceptance criteria and relevant documentation. Prioritize features, bug fixes, and enhancements in the backlog to maximize product value.
