Principal QA QC Engineer (Automation)

A QA/QC Engineer with strong testing and interpersonal skills is needed. The role of an AI QA Engineer specializing in Azure is to focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of AI solutions built on the Azure platform.

Responsibilities include performing various testing methodologies to identify bugs, performance issues, and other defects in AI models, applications, and workflows developed on Azure.

The role also includes evaluating the performance of AI models, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with AI engineers to optimize models for accuracy, speed, and efficiency.

Ensuring the quality and integrity of the data used to train and deploy AI models is also a key responsibility, including data cleaning, transformation, and validation.

The position involves working closely with AI engineers, data scientists, software developers, and product managers to understand requirements, identify issues, and ensure the successful deployment of AI solutions.

Developing and maintaining automated test suites to ensure consistent and reliable testing of AI models and applications is also part of the role.

Investigating and resolving issues related to AI model performance, data pipelines, and application functionality is crucial.

Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and best practices for AI testing and quality assurance is expected.

Strong understanding of Azure AI services, including Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Databricks is necessary.

Experience with data pipelines and workflows, including data ingestion, transformation, and storage is required.

The role will involve the implementation of AI workflows and integration of AI services with solution components.

Monitoring the performance of AI solutions in production and evaluating their effectiveness is also a part of the responsibilities.

At least 8 years of testing experience

Experience in testing AI solutions on the Azure platform

A degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields preferred

Strong understanding of testing processes and techniques

Proficiency in test automation using any frameworks and programming languages

Background in cross-functional or agile teams

Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman

Familiarity with issue and test management tools like Jira and TestRail

Strong communication and documentation skills in English

Enthusiasm for testing, adaptable, and self-motivated

ISTQB or similar testing certificate is a bonus

Work hours are flexible, with the option to start between 8AM-9AM from Monday to Friday
